# Flying Branch: 3 posts
# Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: 156 posts
# Ground Duty (Non- Technical): 125 posts
2. NCC Special Entry
# Flying Branch: 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for PC and 10% seats out of AFCAT vacancies for SSC .
Eligibility Criteria of Indian Air Force Recruitment
Age Limit
# Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2025 i.e. born between 02nd July 2002 to 01st July 2006 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 year i.e. born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
# Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2026 i.e. born between 02 January 2000 to 01 January 2006 both dates Inclusive).
# Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2026 i.e. born between 02 January 2000 to 01 January 2006 both dates Inclusive).
Marital Status
Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course and marriage is not permitted during training.
Educational Qualification
# Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
a) Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
OR
b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
# Final year students are eligible to apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/ year at the time of AFSB testing and they produce provisional/ original degree issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.

Examination Fee: Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centers. Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 550/- + GST (non-refundable) as examination fee . However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay.
